The Nutcracker

Each December, Johnstown Concert Ballet proudly presents its beloved annual production of The Nutcracker, a cherished holiday tradition for our community since 1966. Featuring a cast of dedicated local dancers, handmade costumes, beautiful sets, and timeless choreography, our performance brings Clara’s magical journey to life on stage. From the enchanting Land of Sweets to the thrilling battle between the Nutcracker and Mouse King, this festive favorite captures the spirit of the season and delights audiences of all ages.

Spring Production

Each spring, Johnstown Concert Ballet presents a full-length ballet production that showcases the talent and dedication of our dancers. Unlike our traditional Nutcracker, the spring production changes each year, offering audiences a fresh and exciting performance season after season. From original story ballets like Snow White and Rapunzel to beloved classics such as Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and more, our spring performances highlight the creativity of our faculty and provide dancers with valuable stage experience in a wide range of roles and styles.

Community Performances

Johnstown Concert Ballet is proud to be an active part of our community through a variety of local performances throughout the year. From DelGrosso Dance Days to the Folk & Arts Fest, Ethnic Fest, and more, these events allow us to share our love of dance beyond the stage, and celebrate cultural traditions.
